Week of November 13th

Greetings all.
It is now officially the end of a beautiful autumn.  WOW

Thank you so much to all of you who made it to my Open House.  It was fun.  And I really appreciate it.  We had some nice visits and some cheese and some wine.  The windy end of autumn made it more of an effort, so thanks.  I’d say just under a hundred folks braved the weather in the two days.  Those of you who made it, now know where the CHEESE SNUG is and how to find me all winter.  The rest of you who are interested, let’s do it another day.

ONLY 6 MORE MARKET DAYS.   Saturday 19 Nov, Tuesday 22 Nov, Saturday 26 Nov, Saturday 3 December, Saturday 10 December, Saturday 17 December.

I will be keeping winter hours in the SNUG.
Fridays 12-7
Saturdays 9-2
And by appointment.
Fridays start now.  Saturdays after market.
Appointments will work.

All’s well here.  Last week was very full.  And my computer crashed Tuesday this week.  It is incredible how helpless that makes one feel.  But the Mouse House fixed me up and it’s onward and upward.

Baby update _  I don’t know much this week.  Sarah had drs. appointments Monday but I haven’t heard.  Come on Sarah!!!
Nate news.  Son Nate is leaving Saturday for El Salvador to spend a week with Habitat.
What an experience that should be!

Tonight an ad runs in the Chronicle for Cheese Lady Samplers.
5 assorted cheeses, with cheese signs in a gift bag.
Only $25.00 Saturday and Tuesday at the market.

                      Pyrenees is back!
Cow's milk Tomme with a black crust

This is a pressed but uncooked cheese, which is matured for four weeks then dipped in liquid black paraffin wax. This completely seals the cheese and stops further maturing.
