Well, The Cheese Lady is back to letter writing.
Week of December 4th.
And this is the 4th!
Hello all.
Hard to believe that October was so perfect.
Because when bad weather hit it certainly hit with a vengence.
The Saturday after Thanksgiving I was at the market.  It was so cold!
This past Saturday I went down and left a sign that I was here at the CHEESE SNUG.
I'm sorry, I just can't take the deep
cold for 4-5 hours.

REMEMBER
DECEMBER HOURS ARE AT THE CHEESE SNUG.
FRIDAY 12-7
SATURDAY 9-2
OR BY APPOINTMENT.
I AM HAPPY TO DO EVENING HOURS.
JUST CALL ME.
231-744-8652
Thanks to all of you who made your way up to see me last week!!!
Look for the yellow flag during my set hours.
I'm really easy to find.

Cheesewise I'm in pretty good shape.  I'll update the availability tomorrow .
Orders are starting to come in.  Think a little ahead if you have specific wants or needs,
some items may have to be ordered.  Many special order items are coming in this week..
I place my orders on Sunday for a Wednesday delivery.

baby update - Sarah informs me that all is well.  She is in maternity pants.
All the tests are good.  She is coming up on 20 weeks.  Daddy Todd thinks a
Detroit LIONS nursery would be nice.  For a little girl?

Nate update - Son Nate is home from El Salvador.  A week with Habitat for Humanity
that found him pouring footings and laying blocks.  "Best vacation I ever had."
Met nice people and worked hard.

How is everyone?  The dust is clearing so if anyone finds that I have not responded
when I should have, please try me again.  I'll admit to being overwhelmed for a bit..

Last night I went to the French Musicale at NM high school.  I took Frenchy (Raymonde) from the farmers' market.  After all she can speak and understand French!  Raymonde's husband, Amado died this summer.  After 60 years of marriage.  That's a long time!  When she came to this country she spoke only French, he spoke only Spanish and I hear they had their own language together.
Anyway, we sat across from a couple of nice young ladies from Costa Rica.  Beautiful and very well educated employees of Gerber in Fremont. They spoke French and Spanish and English and I'm guessing a few other languages too.  Both of them went out of their way to be kind to Frenchy and to me.  I'm thanking them now.  Thanks.
