The Cheese Lady - Rochester

I fell in love with cheese as a young girl when my mom would bring home wonderful cheeses from the local butter shop where she worked.

As I traveled through Europe, I definitely expanded my knowledge and love of cheese. One day, on a trip with my mom and sisters, we stumbled upon a quaint little cheese shoppe that I fell in love with. That became the beginning of the dream to open up my own store filled with delicious, European and artisan style cheeses that I was passionate to share with my customers.

We often get lost in the bustle of busy lives and sometimes feel we are “just a number”. I wanted to create an atmosphere that felt like a little bit of Europe and develop relationships with my customers where they knew they were important to us.

I love what I do and feel very blessed to be able to share beautiful cheese and conversation with those that enter my shoppe.
